The Commerce Middle School Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) met on Tuesday, October 4. The meeting agenda included a presentation by Principal Chuck Bell on the "State of the School," and an informational session on the Bridge Bill led by Hal Wilkinson of the Georgia Student Finance Commission. The organization also discussed:
- This year's Halloween Dance to be held on Thursday, October 26 from 3:00-5:00 p.m.
- Organizing a run/walk fund-raiser on the new CMS track.
- PTO Board nominations
- American Education Week (November 14-18) activities
- CMS Book Fair (November 11-18)
- School-to-home communications
